annnnd... the official update

well, we are now (finally) settled into our apartment in gilbert (almost mesa) - the television / dvd / vcr / video game cable stuff is all hooked up! i currently have free wifi from at least three different sources, thanks to linksys and their wonderful user:admin pass:admin default. terra and ila are doing great, ila is pointing to what she wants and now says "uh-oh", "da-da", and "mama". another frequent sound is an ear piercing theremin - like wail of joy that she finds great amusement in. my pc blew up, it's AMD 2600+ finally bit the dust after crunching numbers almost nonstop since 2002. that explains the lack of a WoW presence from either terra or myself, along with the fact that i was moving, and now go to school and work full-time. i'll try to keep the updates to at least every other day, in not, then weekly.

it's been waaay too long

it has been far too long since i have updated my blog so, here is an update:

ila has teeth, three of them, two on the bottom and one on top.

terra had a birthday, and like the bum that i am, forgot to get flowers and a card.

we live in phoenix now, where i am attending the conservatory of recording arts.

and, i upgraded / installed the sound system at EBC. it looks and sounds great.

sick! blarrg...

i have spent the last 4 (really, 3 and a half) days coughing out my lungs, not speaking, trying to keep my head together despite the evil cold-flu gnomes inside hellbent upon splitting my skull open with chainsaws. not fun. but, on a good note, i finally made enough freaking gold in WoW to buy my mount. now, i also finshed my homework and papers for class next week, too, so i can say i did not play too much warcraft. thank you.

Well, I have been playing with the picasa blog this! features. pretty neat. picasa has really gotten a lot better since it first came out.

it was freaking cold today!

first of all, i would like to announce to the world that exploding copper pipes suck. especially when water follows said exploding copper pipe. now. it was 18 degrees above zero when i arrived at my studio today. freaking cold. then i played plumber with my dad the rest of the day. good times with dad. crawling about an attic to fix copper pies - not good times. well, it is all fixed now, wrapped safely into its polystyrene pipe insulation (funny, it actually gets cold in tucson... hmm...) i hope it is (warmer) tomorrow.
